Since his curiosity for the natural world was kindled in 1939, David Wallis has been exploring the forests, coasts and beloved moors of his home county, Devon.

It has been a dream off his to make use of his dozens of notebooks and sketchbooks to leave some of that love and knowledge of the wild places behind.
